Well, I'm glad I decided to stay. My apartment complex was mostly spared since Hurricane Rita ended up hitting further east of Houston. Outside of Toby's apartment you can see some of the leaves that are all over the ground. That and a couple of uprooted trees are the only evidence you can tell that a not-your-normal-Houston storm blew through last night.
I went to bed around 10:30pm and was awoken when the power went out at 2:30am. After poking my head out to see it windy and rainy I just went back to bed. After I woke up around 7ish I checked up on Toby and took these pictures around the complex. At about 9:00am the power came back on and everything seems to be back to normal.
