Well, last Friday I got my Ipod back and it's good as new! After waiting almost a week for them to get the parts in, TechRestore replaced the screen, gave me a free battery upgrade and overnighted it back to me. What sucked more than the wait was the fact that it cost me a damn bill and a half. I need to get me a Kevlar jacket for this rascal because I'm not about to pay that again! I feel like a sucker.

I just can't have nice things
I bought this Ipod back in January and have got some serious use out of it. It holds 40 gigs of tunes and after ripping 3/4 of my CD collection I haven't even filled up half of it. You can imagine my dismay when the LCD cracked WHILE IN MY POCKET! I guess I just bumped into something because aside from the leaking crystals there is no noticeable breakage.
Anyways, the only reason I'm sharing my pain is because tomorrow I'm shipping my Ipod to a company called Tech Restore. for 30 bucks they overnighted me a box with prepaid shipping to send it back. The cost includes repair although it does not include the price for parts. I'm guessing I'll end up paying about 100 bucks by the time I'm done. I'll make a post when I have my 400 dollar investment back in my grubby lil' hands.
